Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh has officially unveiled her new spiritual movement, New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), and it has got everyone in Western Nigeria and across social media talking.
The actress announced the new ministry on Sunday via her Instagram page, describing it as an interdenominational altar and a global movement of consecrated believers called to experience the raw power, purity, and presence of God.
According to her, the name NWPT is anchored on Mark 2:22 – “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins.”
What Tonto Dikeh Said About Her New Ministry
In making her announcement however, Tonto Dikeh made it known that NwPT is no ordinary church.
“NWPT – exists as the dwelling of His presence for anyone that refuses to embrace mediocre and lukewarm christianity, anyone who has thirst and burning for true revival fire and transformation”, she wrote.
It is not a church; it is a fervent assembly of men and women devoted and empowered for the fulfillment of God’s will. Set apart; burnished by His fire; and commanded to advance His Kingdom.
The ministry says: “It’s all part of a vision to see… ‘a worldwide outpouring of wholly, unadulterated consecration of believers functioning in the raw power, purity, and presence of God transforming lives and taking ground for Christ here on earth’.
The goal is, “To erect an altar for interdenominational prayer, revival and apostolic training, where Watchmen will be trained, gifts energized, the loss will be reached without mercy, the oppressed made free from all sin with the Holy Ghost.”
According to the flyer she shared, NWPT holds weekly fellowship every Friday by 6:00pm.

From King Tonto to Evangelist Tonto
The post comes many months after Tonto Dikeh started signing off her posts as ‘Ada El-Roi’ and started actively participating in Pastor Jerry Eze’s NSPPD community.
Her Fame In March, 2026, King Tonto Dikeh shocked the internet when she announced she was going to shed the renowned title to please the Holy Spirit.
She had also been heard to say: “In respect of the leading of the Holy Spirit, my name shall not be known as King Tonto Dikeh anymore. You can call me The Woman of God, Evangelist Tonto, Tonto Dikeh, Aunty Tonto, or Big T.”
In addition,, some fans based in Ibadan, Lagos and Akure equally noted about the modification made to her dressing and how she conducts herself, including her dressings.
In December 2005, Tonto gave a moving testimony at Pastor Jerry Eze’s Streams of Joy International Church where she stated that God set her free from smoking and drink as well as masturbation and unforgiveness. She stated she took to smoking when she was 13.
Reactions in Western Nigeria
This has elicited different reactions among fans in Western Nigeria, while many are celebrating her spirituality, some have argued regarding her being ordained a pastor.
The actress who entered political spheres in 2022 as a governorship running mate in Rivers State and did an amiable public reunion with ex-husband Olakunle Churchill earlier this year, says she has set her gaze on Jesus and her assignment.
He has also been involved with evangelism, as the other day he also organized a deliverance at the school and created a prayer email that you may send him all your prayer intentions to.
Is Tonto Dikeh’s New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle the beginning of her full-time pastoral calling? Time will tell. But one thing is clear – King Tonto is now Evangelist Tonto.
